Kerrie and Jay Griffin were married on October 19, 2019 at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN. It was my first time photographing a wedding at the aquarium, and it definitely made for some neat photos as you will see below! Before heading to the aquarium for their ceremony and reception, the couple and wedding parties got ready at an AirBnb five minutes away. Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain the entire day, and the yard of the rental was completely muddy so it was a no go for photos outside. Luckily, the house had some amazing natural light so we were able to capture some really beautiful portraits inside.
Both the ceremony and reception were truly moving. Not only was I able to observe the deep love between the new husband and wife, but I saw how much all their friends and family adore them. The groom was brought to tears reading his vows to his new bride. Everyone was wiping tears away watching the groom and his mother's first dance to "Mama" by Boyz 2 Men. The toasts by the matron of honor and the best man were full of emotion and an admiration for the couple that all the guests agreed upon. I feel so blessed to have been able to witness and capture Jay and Kerrie's big day. To see a sneak peek of their wedding photos keep scrolling down.

I love how you were able to capture such an intimate moment between Kerrie and Jay right after they got married. It's moments like those that we will cherish forever, well at least we would cherish them if we had someone as talented as you taking photos for us! The color combination was perfect too! You really know your stuff man, keep up the good work!
