With a long history of service men and women in both families, Veterans Day weekend was the perfect time for Kim and Richard to host their wedding. The wedding was held at Country Kinfolk Farm in Knoxville, Tennessee, and it was so fitting that an American Flag was painted onto the roof of the barn. Richard, the groom, served in the Marines, and Duke, the bride's son, serves in the Navy. The father of the groom served in the Navy and the father of the bride served in the Coast Guard. Love of county and pride of service shined through this beautiful wedding and reception. Kim was the loveliest autumn bride, and one of the most fun! All night she lit up the dance floor, along with another couple who has been married 60 years! They spun each other around on the dance floor like they were newlyweds! Scroll down to see all the love from this ceremony! If Kim and Richard receive 20 comments on this blog post they will be given a FREE 8x10 print, so make sure to comment for the couple!
When I met Michelle and Anthony, I immediately loved their laid back vibe. Not many brides are as relaxed as Michelle, so I definitely felt lucky working with her! Their wedding was hosted at a friends ranch house in Maryville, TN, and this home has an absolutely beautiful view of the mountains! It provided such a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony.
Michelle had asked for photos that were not normal posed wedding photos, so it challenged me to get creative with the wedding party photos. Her bridal portraits were already coming out stunning, but when a horse literally ran to us during the photo shoot we had to add him to the pictures!
The couple hosted their reception at Barley’s in downtown Knoxville, serving pizza and beer, (which is right up my alley!). After the reception they exited to sparklers held by all their friends and family! I love how all the photos turned out, and if you enjoy them too make sure to comment below! Once this blog post gets 15 comments the couple will get a free 8 x 10 print!
